White spots on tongue

Have had white spots on tongue for over a month. They are raised spots and cannot be wiped away. Was treated for thrush with several different medication. finally sent to ENT where they found I had chronically infected adenoids. ENT felt that the tongue was underlying reason because of the infection how ever been on antibiotics for 5 days and still have spots. Any thoughts on what else it could be?

It could still be thrush.  Antibiotics can cause thrush to flourish. https://www.healthline.com/health/dental-and-oral-health/white-tongue

Did the previous treatments to rid you of thrush work? If so, then it's probably the antibiotics that have caused a resurgence.

it never did clear it, look like it would start to dissipate and then come back. none of the previous thrush medication seem to fully resolved it. They tried Nystatin, clotrimazole
and now diflucan along with the antibiotics
