ear infection

I got this pain in my ear that comes and goes for last 6 years.

GP says it si inner ear infection. But i got a very uncaring GP, gonna go to someone else.

but can some one tell what is the consquence of the inner ear infection.1)

I am seeing the speclist only in januray, any remdies till than. 2)

And i eat chillies, does that makes it worse.3)

Please reply to my 3 questions.Thanks

6 years is a very long time to spend with a very uncaring doctor, you're right, go find someone who cares.

Don't think the chiles have anything to do with it... Eat away!

Pain in the ear can be from many things including things in the ear such as chronic infection, fluid without infection (serous otitis media or otitis media with effusion), and things outside the ear like TMJ (temporal mandibular joint arthritis) or other referred pain.

I doubt seriously it is an inner ear infection. A middle ear infection yes, but not inner.

Regarding chllies, I doubt it has an impact. Think about how many cultures love Chiles. Thailand, Mexico etc...   folks living there seem to be fine.

Regarding remidies before your GP visit. Well it depends on what is causing the problem, which I don't know so a remidy is difficult to give.  But basically if you have something going on that causes inflamation that you know of then resolve that.
