i recently put in prescribed ear drops and i’m in pain should i be worried?

Hi i recently put in prescribed ear drops in my left ear today was the first day before going to bed and 3 hours later i woke up in excruciating pain and muffled hearing worse than how i was i can’t go back to bed and my left side of my throat is now hurting from the top of my neck following to the bottom when i swallow i feel it more my ear drum doesn’t move even though i had a perforated ear drum patch surgery done last december i was put on these drops too see if it would dissolve some wax and have a clearer view but i can’t sleep and i’m still in pain and i don’t know if i should be worried?
