Hello and hope you are doing well.

Tongue swelling could be due causes like trauma or infections or vitamin deficiencies. The swelling could sometimes be due to an allergic reaction. And if severe can obstruct breathing. Therefore, I would suggest you see your doctor as soon as possible to detect the cause for the swelling.
