hi, thanks alot for all the information.
i ended up going to the doctor last night, i started peeing blood.
i have a bladder infection, both of my ears are infected and a sinus infection.
i think maybe the nethi pot did make it worse...maybe thats why my ears got inffected too. they gave me antibiotics , a red pill that turned my pee orange lol and tylonal.
i still feel really bad today though.
and the doctors here you have to have money on the spot..no free clinic here.
thanks alot

What you have described fits sinus infection which has to be treated with nasal decongestants and antibiotics usually. You have to visit your doctor for a prescription for an antibiotic. Amoxycillin seems safe, provided you are not allergic to it. Depending on your age and weight the dosage can vary. But it is given 8 hrly for a week or so.

Don't you have a free government hospital around to visit?

Netti (the correct pronunciation is nethi - it is a sanskrit word, meaning 'to clean') pot usage can't be blanket-recommended as there is a chance that the infected material can get transported from one sinus to another.

Try blowing out the nose clean, then use decongestant nasal drops (or just salt water drops into the nose) and inhaler steam after half hour. Do this twice a day.\

Hope this helps!

Best,

TA
