something is stuck on my throat

I'm 20 years old and since 6days I'm feeling as if something is stuck in my throat. I don't feel any pain, and any difficulty but the feeling of this thing. I feel like some piece of paper is stuck or anything. I believe I'm not having tonsil problem. At mornings I think its gone and after sometimes it again comes back. I'm not having coughs or any other diseases etc. I'm really scared about this as I heard this is a symptom of cancer.  Can you just tell me what it may be

I'm not sure what is causing this, but I do know several people that I know ( including myself) had this problem a few months ago. It was the only symptom any of us had.
It didn't matter how much you ate or drank, it constantly felt as if there were a dry spot in the throat. I'm going to guess it's either dry weather related or possibly a viral thing.
In any case, you should probably see a doctor in case it's a polyp or something more serious.
On a side note, things such as anxiety can also cause a dry throat feeling.
