sore throat

I have had sore throat for over a month now, with no other symptoms of anything (cold or flu) is there a reason to be concerned? or how serius can it be?

I had/have a sore throat still...it's been 2 and a half months now. I would suggest you see a ENT so they can evaluate you. They said that i have LPR which is a form of acid reflux...or if it might take a while for you to get in to see the ENT i would suggest taking over the counter zantac. It seemed to take the edge off.
