Does anyone know what would be the cause of white bumps on the back of the throat? (many of them, need a flashlight to look at)

strep can cause this, and so can mono. are these bumps accompanied by a sore throat? they're probably harmless, but if you're concerned get them checked out by a doctor. they can test you for strep which is cleared up with antibiotics. mono isn't usually serious either. hope this helps!
