I have had swollen lymph nodes (Posterior Auricula Nodes) to be exact for the past two months. They are very painful underneath my jaw line. I also have a fixed pea size one behind my right ear, that is also painful. I get deep ear aches. I have to put pressure on the lymph nodes in order to get relief. My regular doctor has sent me to an ENT, but i don't go until the end of the month. I was put on prednisone, but it did not help any. Is there anything i should ask to be tested? So far all of my blood work on all kinds of disease have come back okay. Would the lymph nodes have any thing to do with my tongue feeling like it is scaled when i eat something? I should mention that i have had a total thyroidectomy 15yrs ago. My current symptoms i should say are weight loss, night sweats, insomnia, deep thigh bone/muscle aches. I am 37yr old Female. I do have results of all my lab work, anything i should be looking at?
