Deviated Septum Surgery Tomorrow

Hi there :)

I am due to have Septum Surgery tomorrow morning, and basically I am worried. I do not fear pain in anyway, I do fear an anesthesia reaction. I have a young family, so obviously my anxiety levels take a battering around times like these.

I am currently on dosulepin 75mg, and now I am worried about a reaction. I took the last dosulepin tablet on Sunday night, didnt take any last night.

Will there be anesthetist present in this operation?

I should point out that I was not told to stop the dosulepin,  I think its just a case of me starting to freak out now the time has come to go under the knife :)

I have had quite a few operations in my lifetime without a reaction, am I freaking out for nothing?

I take it that I should just tell the doctors tomorrow everything that I am taking?

Anyway lol , pitty you cant go in drunk

C ya later

Oh wow,

That sounds rough. I hope you are recovering well and hope to hear back from you soon on how you are healing.

Be well,

Hi Melissa :)

Just home, so glad that its all over. Glad to see my daughter, it was hard leaving her yesterday.

It all went well, Doctor removed a lot of bone and cartilage, So it was worse than he first expected.

Quite painful on waking up, although I have had worse. They removed the packing at 6am this morning, which surprisingly didnt hurt. Feel rough now, didnt sleep at all last night.

My nose is blocked up, hopefully it will heal soon :)

Thanks very much for replying
