Dry sore lungs. Non smoker

For about 4 months now, my lungs have been feeling funny. The only way I can describe it is the feeling you sometimes get after eating ice cream; sort of a cold, dry achy sensation. Its a dull pain that lasts all day and sometimes randomly gets worse and becomes sharp. My chest sometimes feels very tight and its hard to breath. It hurts more when I inhale then exhale.
I have a cough, its usually dry, short and unproductive.
With this lung pain, my throat hurts too, but its not sore. It feels like something is stuck in it, like a pop-corn seed (I don't eat pop corn). This feeling worsens when I have a dry throat.
I have pollen allergies, but the lung ache persists when I take allergy meds.
I also am a non smoker. My lungs seem to ache more when I am around second hand smoke.

Are you seeing an Allergist?  You can always be retested if you think this is all related to an allergy of some sort.

I would be seeing your physician for an assessment ASAP to help you sort all this out.

No. but today the feeling seem to be more in my throat then lungs. My throat is really dry. I wonder if it's just an allergen I don't know about.
