Ears, Ears, Ears!

Every morning for the past few months I wake up with a sensation of wax build up in my ear. It is tender and feels heavy, sometimes even the glands around my ears are sore. I've researched all the homeopathic ways to safely extract ear wax and nothing really comes out, it doesn't seem like there is excessive wax build up. Also, When I went to a annual doctors appt they said my ears look clean/clear.

Its more of an odd discomfort than anything and ONLY in the mornings for a short while. I have an ENT specialist; with whom I've had a tonsillectomy with. Seems like too small an issue to go in for though. Any ideas?!

Thanks I will try that! Yes I use a Q-tip a few times a week, sometimes nothing is on the q-tip other-times there are globs. So perhaps the hydrogen peroxide will work.

Did you try over the counter Hydrogen Peroxide, full strength?  I use an ear syringe and lay on one side, filling the other side with H02, it bubbles and I find it takes some effort not to stop because of the tickle it causes.  I let it bubble for 5 or more minutes then let it drain out on a wash cloth, or into the sink.  I also use Q-tips to to wipe the area in my ear while it is still wet with the H02j.

I don't have much trouble with wax, sometimes I just use a Q-tip soaked in hot water or in out of the bottle H02.  I sometimes get some yellow (wax) on the Q-tip but never a glob.
