GERD or lung related issue? Breathing discomfort and symptoms

I am having some problems... Cant diagnose it properly... I started having some problems in breathing... specially at night.. when i am lying i feel like i m choking(not severe, just discomfort). I sometimes have little pain in chest . Also i have upper abdominal pain too but mild pain. But after i fall asleep i don't have any discomfort and i don't wake up in the middle of night. I may have GERD. not sure. The paun is very mild and happens sometimes.. i feel breathing discomfort at night.. The chest pain is mild and I feel discomfort in general. Also I have a Nasal congestion issue for long time.  I can feel that I have quite some amount of mucus in my throat. I dont have asthma but its in my family.,..
