Hello and hope you are doing well.

Oral thrush is usually caused by candida albicans, which is a fungal infection. The white patches have a cottage cheese appearance. They can occur as a consequence to throat infection or sometimes steroid inhalers are known to promote their growth. If its due to steroid inhalers ensure to gargle your mouth after each usage of the inhaler. Also, ensure to take the antifungal agents for the required numbers of days to clear the infection.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
