Just got Ear Tubes and Overall feel 100% better. I just have a couple of questions.

Just got the Tubes yesterday (2/21/14) The doctor said my hearing would be muffled for about 2 weeks. I noticed my Left ear is a little more muffled than the right. The right ear, as far as hearing, really isn't that bad. But like I said the Left is noticeable more muffled. No pain at all. Is that normal? Also, how do you keep your ears clean with Tubes in?  My ears were notorious for getting massive ear wax. I just don't want the Tubes to get clogged with anything.

Hi, it may take time for the fluid to drain completely, hence the muffling. As far as cleaning goes, try not to clean for another two weeks. After which you can gently clean the outside alone, not probing inside. As it heals the grommet will be pushed out. However, if your symptoms persist or if they worsen, consult your doctor. Regards.

How much time does it take for the fluid to drain completely?  An average amount of time answer would be useful for me.
