Hello everyone and thank you in advance for reading and responding to my problem.
I dont know if this is related but on March 7th 2019 I had my top to wisdom teeth removed. That is also the day that I quit smoking. I have not smoked since then. I was a pack a day smoker for about 10 years. When I quit and was healed up from the teeth I started having a globus sensation in my throat constantly making take deep breaths. Then this week 5/13/19 I started to feel a vibration on the left side of my throat when I took the deep breath. On 5/16/19 I noticed a growth / lump about the size of a q tip sticking out of my glossopalatine arch. I have no ear pain, swollen lymph nodes, trouble breathing or swallowing. It does hurt a little but ice cream or a cough drop relives the pain. Really any food or drink does too. Its causing the globus sensation in my throat and giving me overall worry and anxiety. I will post a link to a picture too if that will help. I'm just wondering if anyone knows what this is or has ever seen anything like this before. Today is 5/19/19 I went to the doctor about 2 weeks ago and was diagnosed with acid reflux. Yesterday I went to a UTC and was told to go back to my GP.
