Lumps on neck and whiteness all over in mouth

Hello. I've been struggling with some issues for over 3-4 months. To begin with, I have several swellings near and above my adam's apple. One of them is very hard and pea sized. It is located 1 cm right to the adam's apple. I think it's on my thryoid or something but I'm not sure. It goes up and down a little bit when I swallow. The other one is above the apple and a little bit softer than the other. Another thing is, I have whiteness all over my mouth. My gums(interior), cheeks, soft palate is all whiteish. Behind my wisdom teeth(both sides) and in front of tonsils( they look like thinner tonsils) there are white patches. These are  more significant compared to other white areas. Can you please explain me what's going on? I have been to doctor like 5 times and they prescribed me cold medicines. I think this has nothing to with cold. Thank you very much for this great website. Hope to hear from you soon.
