It is difficult to say if this is related to the Levaquin, but one cannot really say it isn't.
Could the offbalance be due to tinnitus? I know I will get better answers when I go to see an ENT. Maybe stress is making it worse because sometimes through the day it's not as bad as others. I have never had a problem with this ever before and it's scary. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I just don't realize why the doctor didn't just give me pinnicillin instead of this medicine that seems to be so strong.
Yes, I agree. I don't know why he ordered Levaquin vs another ATB. Tinnitus and the being off balance are two different symptoms. One is not causing the other. Have you read the side effects from Levaquin? There are quite alot, and I believe this drug has been "black boxed" in the USA. However, I am not so sure this caused your problems or your problems are unrelated to the Levaquin.
I did read the side effects to the medicine before hand and was real leery about taking the medication. I Just hope this hasn't ruined me for life. It makes me depressed because I was a real active person before and my personality has changed quite a bit from this. Hopefully I will get down to the bottom of this.
