Had a domestic violence incident where the rite side of my jaw was hit fairly hard. I also had sprained ribs as well as dislocated shoulder.had gone to hospital and they said all was well and will heal in time. Well that was about 3 years ago, lately in the past 6 months i been having jaw pain and sevre discomfort.was told it was inflamation but within weeks i can no longer open my jaw wide. Before i was able to open up about four fingers high now i can only open it less than two fingers. The pain is most severe on my right side, its affecting my right ear. I have strong discomfort in my ear everytime i open my mouth. Again went back and it was still said to be inflamation and was perscribed ibuprofen for the pain and inflamation to go down. No luck in that. Pain is becoming very irritation and unbearable. Now im having deep throat pain on my right side everytime i swallow including the jaw and inner ear pain at once. That pain in my throat hurts whn i turn my head to the left but not the right. The pain is literally one the right side. this is all becoming too much. It wont go away and im a little worried irritated and becoming agitated with the whole thing. Im am just giving up on going to the doctor and hear the same thing about the inflammation. Is there something else or am i just over reacting?
