Thanks for the response, I'm to chicken to Try that. I think I'll let a professional do it. But good to know.
I use hydrogen peroxide right out of the bottle (what ever concentration that is, on the drugstore/supermarket shelf). I lay down and use a Syringe to flood the upside ear - not a drop or two I just put enough in to bring the level up to near the overflow point. I lay still for 10 minutes or so, if wax is in the ear, my experience, is you will feel a tickle and hear bubbling as the peroxide works. I then use a cloth, or walk with head tilted to the sink and dump the ear out. I also flush with warm water using the syringe. I usually also do a no-no and stick a Q-Tip in after wetting it with HOT water to wipe the inside of the ear. There are ear wax removal preps but I find Hydo Per better. My doctor suggested vinegar and rubbing alcholo 50/50 I like hydrogen peroxide best.
I have had wax removed by the doctor/nurse and that was when I just couldn't get it out. She used the same method of flushing with warm water, but she had the advantage of standing along side the ear and using a bright light to guide - best I can recall she may have also done some probing - not to be done without training - and I recall on the last occasion, a couple years ago, a big glob came out of my ear. The only symptom i had was I couldn't hear out of that ear, I don't recall vertigo or balance problems.
That ms for the response. Yes I did mean ears. So if that doesn't work how do you get the wax out?
I have been tested for bppv and do not have this. So far with all th specialists I've seen, they can't tell me anything besides "anxiety". Which I find to be a answer only because they don't know but don't want to say they don't. I agree that I have anxiety due to this issue, and that it makes it worse, but why now for now reason would it do that.
I think you mean to ask if he looks in your EAR can he see past the ear drum. No. He cannot.
The candles do not work; it has been tested and proven.
You probably have benign positional vertigo. There is physical therapy for this.
