Pain Behind Left Ear

My mom just began to get really bad pain behind her left ear (she's in her 40's). It started when she woke up and doesn't seem to get any better. Nothing is swollen. She said that it hurts to open her jaw all the way as well. And that it almost feels like she has a kink in her neck. What would you diagnose this as? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPREACIATED!!! :]

Hi,

Unfortunately we don't have a doctor for Ear nose and throat issues. It cold be Temporomandibular Joint Disorder. (TMJ) She may want to start by seeing if that's waht it is. If not, he could perhaps guide you inthe proper direction.

Yea I've got the same thing it could be my muscle bc I looked it up and right were I put my hand is were the muscle is it's werid I need a doctor to tell me this stuff
