Ladyquoi, I know this post Re: your pain was a while back but in case you're still suffering w/o any accurate diagnosis thought I'd post and hopefully help.
I would reccommend looking into trigeminal neuralgia. You can look on some of the reputable websites to get a more clear idea of the symptoms. There are 3 specific areas of the face (including areas Inside the mouth that relate to the trigeminal nerve. The pain is excruciating and unfortunately far too many people have had healthy teeth removed due to the pain when it had nothing to do with the teeth at all. TN is often is incorrectly diagnosed but certainly can and should be. I would not keep trying dentists-instead go to a neurologist or if that's totally impossible a very, very good oral AND maxiliofacial specialist.
Hope this helps you out!

I would eat a diet of 75% raw and 25% cooked and drink raw vegetable soups if I were in this condition.
I have had pain in the back of the left side of my mouth that shoots to my ear, roof of my mouth and top left side of my mouth. Feels like a tooth ache but not certain. I have been to two different dentist and they see no decay, no sign of infection but they both seem to think I need a root canal. The first dentist knows which tooth and the second dentist says I have so much pain I cant determine where the pain is so she puts me on antibiotics for 10 days. I'm still in pain and this is day 2 with meds. Any suggestions?
It sounds like the treatments did not work so something else must be up?
I would suggest a CT scan to rule out mastoiditis (behind the ear bone- infection). Unlikely to be a parotid gland infections or calculi (stones) but sometimes pain radiates to the back of the ears when actually the problem is in front of the ears.
Good luck!
I'd see an ent and see if they can help. Fluid in the ears can cause a lot of these symptoms. But, the eardrum can also be "sucked" backwards from negative pressure, too. An ear exam with an opthalmascope should be able to tell. Your infection may still be there, too. Maybe antoher round of antibiotics?? Best of luck.
