Please help my daughter has swollen gland

My daughter has 1 swollen gland and got her bloods done. Her Neutrphonia was low here monocytes was hi. Sorry im so worried about cancer. She is in g8 from and eating as normal. She has had a bad cold for the past few weeks as have i. Her bloods a few other things were off but not by very much.

Hey thanks her serum urea was a little low but other thatn that the rest were fine.

Hi.  

    You have mentioned regarding Neutrophils and monocytes what about other counts? Are they normal? These two counts are not the only parameters to decide whether she is having a cancer or not, we need to check in for other parameters also. I think she had an episode of upper respiratory tract infection because of which the gland got swollen.

     I would like to suggest you that swelling of the gland is because of the infection itself. Try giving her antibiotics (a combination of Amoxycillin and Cerlavulanic acid), probably she should be better with this.
