Sinus/strep? no meds will help!

i dont really know what's going on.  It all started May 16th, and its STILL going on! please help!!!! here's a description:

May 16th – sinus infection begins (fever, chills, a few headaches, major body aches, back aches)

May 19th – went to see Dr. Laebethal.  Did X-rays and diagnosed with severe sinus infection.  Doctor gave me an injection of steroids and antibiotic.  Along with a prescription for a 5 day pack of Levaquin, and 10 day pack of Allegra D-12.

May 24th – finish levaquin pack.  still feel bad.

May 28th – sore throat starts, assume its caused by drainage.

May 29th – finish Allegra D-12 pack.  Still feel groggy, and have sore throat.

May 30th – Notice pus pockets on throat.  Go to an Emergency Clinic in my hometown (2.5 hours away from where I live) about sore throat.  I explain the sinus infection and course taken.  Doctor does a strep test that comes back negative.  Insists its strep – and that I’m not over the sinus infection.  Doctor gives me a shot of penicillin.

June 1st – Throat feels worse.  Can barely swallow, and it hurts to turn my head, to speak, to eat, everything.  Even when I’m sitting still it’s still uncomfortable.  Some of the pus pockets are turning black.  I’ve still got drainage.  It’s horrible.  Also, I’ve returned back home and my sinuses feel a bit of pressure again.  I don’t know what to do.

I went back to the Dr. yesterday.  she said its cryptic tonsillitis.  She gave me "magic mouthwash" which is supposed to clean and numb it - and refferred me to an ENT to get them cleaned and discuss getting them taken out.  The magic mouthwash tends to make everythign BUT my tonsils numb.  And this morning, I've had a LOT of (maybe) drainage? basically I'm getting a lot of yellow and green mucus from my sinusus.  is that common? is it leftover from the sinus infection? is it good or bad?
