Ear pain without infection?

Hi All,

I have been having ear pain for the past month, not constant but when it does come it hurts pretty badly. I have also had a few dizzy spells (not room spinning type, just a feeling like I was spinning around fast or something). Went to the doctor, but no ear infection!

What else could be causing this?

Btw, also have GERD too... don't know if these would have any connection at all!

Thanks for any advice!

Thank you for the advice! I will try Metamucil, I have never tried that before!

For your GERD, try Metamucil.  It completely controls my boyfriend's GERD.  He takes the pill form with water.  He actually started it to lower his cholesterol.  It did that too.  I have heard there can be a link between asthma and GERD, and it's all connected, so you could get a surprise and find your ear pain reduces.  Also try avoiding milk as drinking milk can cause ear issues.
