Ear thumping at night time and now ringing??

I'm 32 years old, obease (I read this may be a cause so I'm adding it in), I have hypothyroidism, and I recently started a low dose of blood pressure medication. Even before I started the blood pressure medicine - I would ocassionlly hear a thudding in my left ear when I would lay down on my right side. Recently however, I've begun to hear a prolong ringing at night when i lay down on my right side. I've goggled these things and found information about plusitile- I think that's what it's called tinnitus and tinnitus. These never occur all the time and it's usually only at night for a brief period of time. I had RD surgery and I have to lay only on my right side now and I'm wondering if that's making it worse? I'm wondering if the BP melodicine is causing the ringing? I'm wondering if stress leads to the beating sound in my ear? I had a halter monitor for a week recently and it showed I have arrhythmia. I also had an ekg and sonogram on my hard and they were normal. I won't be seeing my primary doctor for another month and basically- is this a medical emergency or am I overthinking it ?
