Tonsils

Hi I took my 4yr old Son to the doctors again yesterday with a fever, huge tonsils and breath that smelt. The doctore gave antibiotics for an infection to the tonsils and he thought the adenoids were also infected. This has been the third lot of antibiotics in the past three months for tonsil infections. Basically the doctor askd how attached he was to his tonsils because he was going to refer him to ENT at the hospital.
Then yesterday afternoon my Son became more drowsy just stirring to say he had stomach ache. He was passing dreadful wind so put it down to that. He then vomitted. An hour or so later I noticed a fine rash all over his tummy. I got my medical book out and the symptoms seemed similar to that of Scarlet fever so checked his mouth and he did have white tongue.
Today he still has temperature and the rash has spread down legs and arms, blotchy in places but he is rough now.
I belive he is on the correct medication as he has antibiotics - just wondered whether I needed to see doctor again because if it is Scarlet Fever or a mild form of he is very infectious.

Hi thanks, Doctor says rash and stomach problems all to do with tonilitis. He also says not infectious as on the antibiotics.

If you haven't contacted your doctor about the rash yet, I would immediately.
