antibiotics and hockey

I just started with an antibiotic (my body is not immune to the new country's 'bugs' I moved to, about 2 months ago), so I went to the doctor and she prescribed roxithromycin.I want to know when can I start playing hockey again? I need to take the antibiotics for 14 days. If I feel better in 6 days (when my next practise is) may I go and play, or should I wait until I'm done with the 14day course? Obviously if I'm not feeling well, I wont go. Thank you

What are you being treated with the antibiotic for?  That could have a bearing on when you can return to playing hockey.  If it's for say a tooth infection or strep throat, then you can probably return sooner than if it's for something like pneumonia or bronchitis.  Typically doctors will tell you to return to "normal" activity when you feel able to, but start out slowly - if you go to practice and start feeling sick again or overly worn out, then maybe take a few more days off.
