I actually have the same problem as well, and I have tried everything, I've tried tea tree oil, neosporin, the doctor prescribed some sort of hydrocortisone, which made it SO much worse, but nothing has worked. I have some very good friends that have told me I shouldn't be embarrassed by it, but it is literally DRIVING me crazy. I have a really bad habit of itching it and drying it, it hurts sometimes to shower because of the bacteria and rawness, and it's horribly obnoxious. I have had this problem for at least the past 4 years. I don't know what to do. Even when I leave it alone, which is hard to do, it gets worse. I want to say it's connected to when my sinuses flare up and are stuffed. Some times I wake up and my hearing is completely muffled. I wish it would just go away.... any luck on your end since your post?
