under chin tender to touch

I am trying to put a few things together with an episode that happened to me out of the blue and was wondering if anyone else had any thing like this before?

Has anyone every had a tender to the touch feeling under their chin if you pushed in kind of where the tongue muscle rest past the chin bone?

Anyone familiar with this muscle and what could be related to it being tender?

Thanks ~Nichole

Sounds like a swollen lymph node.

Can anyone relate? :) I believe it was the tongue muscle. I did not have any strep throat or illness at the time.
