vomiting acid in my sleep ...part 2

I made a mistake in my first post,,,,I felt the burning in the back of my NOSE as well as my throat.
It was awful. I had that VERY STRONG TASTE of vomit in my mouth but there wasn't wasn't any vomit, just this horrible burn and taste.
This scares me, what if I vomit while I am asleep ...this can be dangerous.
Is my acid reflux getting out of my control?

I replied to your first post. Please check it out. It can be caused by a weak valve between your stomach and the esophagus. It's serious. Good luck.

It appears so. I did a little reading on acid reflux and vomiting in your sleep. (I know you said there wasn't any actual vomit, it was probably just the acid coming up) This is common and it seems there are things you can do at home to help with this:

1. Stop eating 2-3 hours beore bed.
2. Sleep with your head inclined
3. Avoid spicy foods and caffeine
4. Eat more frequent smaller meals.

I hope this helps, obviosly if it doesn't I would see your doctor. Maybe you need different medication for the acid reflux.

Good luck!
