weather forcasting

hi everyone,

i have a question for you. can anyone out there forcast the weather??? my sinuses are so bad that i can tell you what the weather will be. i pick up the rain about 7miles away. i can tell you if its gonna rain and approx. when. i can tell this with the snow as well. my family with call me to ask if its gonna rain!!! if they watch the weather channel and we have a percentage chance of rain, they ask me if and when we will get it. i have never been wrong as of yet. its kinda of a cool, gift...if thats what it is, but its a painful one. i can tell how close the rain or snow is by the severity of pain in my face and head. just curious if anyone can do this and is really accurate like me!!!

thanks everyone, and have a great day!!!

This is nearly the perfect introduction....  I love simple science projects, currently building a solar heater simply for the simplicity of the project and have built and maintained many other simple projects (if only there was a job that involved simple science projects then I'd be in heaven!).  What you could do with this "ability" is to combine it with a lightning detector and a few other rain gauges and meters and such... :-)

To smell rain and to feel it well before it comes along, most everybody has this "ability".  The differences are that some people pay attention to these feelings and smells and such more that others and identify these smells and feelings with the weather.  There is also sensitivity to air pressure, some are more sensitive through medical (problems?) where air pockets are not able to equalize quick enough or at all which give some people the "ability" to know what's coming. Air pockets such as sinus's being plugged, Inner ears being plugged, ect...

btw; lightning detectors cost as little as $5 if you know how to solder and as much as thousands for applications in various industries.  The $5 ones are interesting conversation starters :-)  haven't built one yet but always wish I had when a lighting storm comes along.
