i pulled a muscle in my throat about seven years ago and when i get nervous it feels like it's swollen. i cant eat alot because it feels like the food is getting stuck in my throat. I also have sinus problems so i would like to know if this could be the cause.

From a doctor in the UK -- Try Gaviscon Liquid, as other antacids may dry out your throat and make it worse.  Hats off to silkysoft, a poster who provided this tip.
