Need Help Please

Ok so
Monday i got pins and needles in my arms and legs, periodically (still have it randomly)
Tuesday - i was on the tube, started feeling like i was gonna be sick, (thought it was nerves as i started a new job tues) but then within 30 sec i was dizzy and couldnt see ... got off the tube and by that time couldnt see (spots in the eyes) thought i was getting a migraine but it went away
had another dizzy spell around lunch time - but only last approx 3 mins
Wed (today) was in the shower this mornin and started having chest pains, couldnt stand up straight cos it felt likesomeone was squeezing my heart.
dizzy spell at work again- cold water on my face and fresh air and water stopped me from fainting
Then tonight, chest pains again, dizzy, light headed, shaky, cold sweats, lasted about 30 mins, and now i have no energy and my head feels heavy and my arms are heavy and weak.

Diet: ive struggled with an eating disorder but the last few days ive been eating rice crackers, clemetines, apples and crips.
I threw up my dinner last night and a little bit tonight - more cos i felt sick than anything.

I dont kno whether all these symptoms are eating related or something else, and if i should go tothe doctor or not.

I panic when i have the chest pains which i think makes it all worse!!

any help is much appreciated

An eating disorder is characterized by abnormal eating habits that may involve either insufficient or excessive food intake to the detriment of an individuals physical and emotional health.

I was thinking the exact same thing as twiggylou, then saw her post. It definitely sounds like dehydration, as dehydration can do crazy things and is quite dangerous. I agree that a visit to a doctor is a good idea, but also drink. Drink water, actually gatorade too would be a great thing for you to drink right now. Let us know how you're doing.

Hi Amy,

I can identify with alot of the symptoms you are saying. For instance the pins and needles, dizzy spells and not being able to see due to spots in front of your eyes, this is all the symptoms i get when my body is too low due to lack of pottassium. I'n not sure if you know much about pottassium but throwing up gets rid of the bodys stor of pottassium. It sounds like your not getting a great deal of intake due to your diet. The only item which contains pottassium is possibly the clementines. How much i am not fully aware but i know that oranges are a source, as well as bananas (very good source) and green leafy vegetables.
It's actually very dangerous and worse case scenario, well death. I started to suffer anxiety and panic attacks when the doctor informes me of this. Every night when i went to bed i was convinced my pottassium levels were to low and i was going to die. That in itself gave me chest pains, but it was a side effect of the panic.
You do need to go see your doctor. They gave me pottassium supplements to take for a while. I still have my eating disorder and i can usually feel when my body is low, the vision blur is my definate sign to eat a banana instantly.
I hope you get to the bottom of it and i wish you well Amy. Its never pleasnant x
