Am I wasting my time?

I was diagnosed with endometriosis during a laparoscopy to remove a uterine polyp and endometriomas thought to be causing infertility.  My RE believes that I've had it for about 10 years or so (I'm 36, with no previous symptoms).  We've been trying for almost 2 yrs, and I've done 3-IUI's--the last one on injections, with no success.  Am I wasting my time and money on these treatments?  Is there anyone out there who has has a successful pregnancy with endo?  Everyone I know that has endo has either miscarried, or never been pregnant, and I can't afford IVF.  Trying not to get my hopes up if this is a losing battle :(

I had already posted my story on an earlier question but I think that it is good to hear positive stories.  I was diagnosed with endometriosis after trying to conceive my second child.  I conceived my first child after trying for about 3 months without help for drs.  I had severe endo and had it laproscopically removed, went on prometrium to raise my progesterone level and started clomid.  I conceived 3 months later and I now have a very healthy 5 year old and 2 year old.  It can happen.  2 of my cousins also have endo and one had been trying to concieve for 5 years, they finally had a little boy last year.  The other has had it for many years and has maxed out on the times she can have it removed.  She conceived her first child with help and 4 months after she had that one, surprise she was pregnant again.  Pregnancy, birth control and breast feeding help to contain the growth.  Stay positive.  It does happen we just have to trust in God's plan and be patient.
