D and C recovery please help!!

I had a D and C and laposcopy 5 weeks ago. I am still experiencing a light brown discharge, and not sure why? It is regular and sometimes heavy. I read should only last 2 weeks, and would get less and less as time went on, but that's not what's happening. It doesn't smell or anything but just was wondering why it is still happening. ?? Please help. *Note: I didn't have the D and C due to miscarriage..I have endometriosis*
