Do uterine fibroids change the shape of your uterus on an ultrasound?

When I had my last ultrasound done my uterus was a funny shape. It bulged out at the top. My gyn thought it was the base of my uterus but he wasn't sure exactly what it was. I know I have endometriosis for sure but I think I may have uterine fibroids too. Not sure. Can fibroids change the shape of your uterus on an ultrasound? Can anyone help me with this please?

Hi,
Fibroids can change the size and shape of the uterus. It is very easy to diagnose fibroids on ultrasound. Also uterine anomalies need to be ruled out.
Hope this helps.
