Endo..

I'll try to make this short as possible. For the last 2 years I've been having very painful periods, severe lower back pain, (basically all the symptoms of endo), I've seen 6 doctors and 5 of them all had different answers for the pain and problems I've been having. One even told me it was all in my head. So I finally found a GYN that seemed to want to help me solve my problem and do whatever she could to find what was causing all of this. Well I had a laparascopy back in Oct. and all they found was a cyst that she said was basically nothing. She said they found no endo or anything else that could have been causing all of this. So her suggestion was to get the Lupron shot, which I did a week ago. I guess my question is, has anyone else had this kind of problem? Can it still be endo and they just not have seen it? Did that happen to any of you? I'm just really discouraged right now. Thanks!

There is no way that that doctor can give you a referral to a specialist in this field?   What if you had cancer and you wanted a better doctor you have to stay with the one they offer? That is not cool.  Is there any way around this?

My pain started in May of 09. I'm just so confused about what's going on. The main problem is that my husband is military so we have to follow the military insurance rules which means I can't see a normal doctor. I have to see a military doctor and most of the time they don't really care about their patients, especially if we aren't the one that's actually the service member. I just feel so lost right now. I had the lap and they said they didn't find anything yet now I'm on the Lupron shot. So basically I'm still where I was at a year and a half ago, I have no answers and still don't know what is wrong with me.

If they just looked and saw the cyst and never really looked around in places where it could be that they couldnt see unless really moving stuff and looking it is quite possible they missed it.

You gotta love the doctors that think its all in your head. I was told that for 15yrs and when I researched and found the best endo doctor I proved all those jerks wrong.

Always go with your gut feeling.

When did your pain start?
