Has anyone had endo on the colon?

I had surgery in 2009 and had my left ovary, tube and a 10 cm cyst taken out.  I was told I had extensive endo around my bladder and uterus.  My dr. got out most of what she could.  It was a surprise to her that she had no idea I had it.  I didn't know either, though I speculated because I read a lot about cysts and the one that I had was an endometrioma.   I have had heavy long periods.  In July, I went to the dr. for my well woman check-up and he did an u/s. I was complaining of pain on my right side.  He saw a 3 cm cyst on the ovary.  I don't understand because in July when I had the first u/s the dr. saw it.  Then 4 weeks later for a follow-up he says it is gone.  Then two weeks later for another follow-up and this being the third u/s he sees it again, same 3 cm.  What is it doing? playing hide-and-go seek?  He wants to see me back again in two weeks.  Now the colon part.  On the last visit with him I complained about the pain I have been having now on my left side.  It feels like a twisting, stabbing pain and I have been a little constipated.  I don't know it if the bc pills that I started taking recently that is causing this, but there is nothing in the symptoms that list constipation and pelvic pain.  Anyway, all week long my left side is hurting and there is nothing there according to the u/s.  I had those parts removed after my 09 surgery.  My dr. said after doing a rectal exam and it hurt!  that I have adhesions on the colon also known I think as irritable bowel syndrome and wants me to see a colon dr.  I have never been to one.  I worry that the endo may of spread.  Has anyone had a colonoscopy to find out if endo was on your colon?

I have had it everywhere. Every colonoscopy I had said nothing penetrated through so I really feel like I wasted my time. Its not a common thing for it to penetrate is actually rare but it does happen that is why they suggest a gastrologist.

If you are having rectal pain it is most likely a rectovaginal cyst.

Endo was found covering my 28 year old daughter's appendix when she had it removed in February, so they are positive it is in her intestines as well as most likely rectum area. Her pain is awful, and she went through heart procedures with no anesthetic at all, so this kid is tough. She is having lap surgery a week from today. They will remove all endos they can then do dye test on tubes and put a Merina IUD in place which sometimes helps with slowing endo growth. Oral BC did not work. I hope they get some help for you quickly!!
