I would highly highly suggest seeing an Endometriosis specialist. It looks like the ones that have treated you have not been one. so if you are interested in finding one that can help me let you know.
I still would call the 'House Nurse Supervisor' and get him/her involved. This is not how hosptals treat their patients. All my years of employment were in the medical field. At the very least this person may be able to help or offer advice on getting her into the other hospital without having to wait many hours in the ER. I really hope your able to get some help facilitating an effective treatment plan. Hang in there!!

We know what the problem is, adhesion with the possibility of endometriosis. The problem is the doctors won't do a damn thing about it because neither of those things show up on a CT scan or a blood panel. I can't do this anymore.
They are kicking her out of the hospital. The insurance won't admit her for one more day and the on call surgeon here won't do anything. I was told by the on-call doctor on the floor that the reason the surgeon won't do anything is because she was previously operated on and doesn't want to assume liability for problems that occur during the surgery. They say pain isn't enough of a reason to keep her admitted. We are forced to go back to the hospital that originally did her oophorectomy. We are forced to go through the emergency room in order to hint at the possibility of seeing the on-call surgeon at the other hospital.
She broke down in tears once she heard the news that Olathe won't accept her through the normal hospital channels. I don't know what else to do. I'm close to breaking down. She has broken down. This entire situation is fubar.
I am sorry to hear of her pain and struggle to get decent medical attention. I would ask the floor nurse to call the 'House Nurse Supervisor'. This person is in charge of making sure patients are getting adequate care, pain control and have her properly admitted instead of being in 'observation'. If the nurse isn't willing to call the House Supervisor then go to the front desk in the lobby of the hospital and ask the person at the desk to pave the House Supervisor. I am sure this is your best bet at getting some proper help. Oh, and there is no reason the doctor or his own staff can't call the other hospital or doctor and get the Colonoscopy report for you. It's there job. Her job is to rest and get to feeling better. Hang in there and please post an update as soon as you can. Best wishes,
