Living with endo. Positive experiences?

I look on the board and see so many negative factors.  I understand endo is difficult and can be chronic even if one has a hysterectomy.  I am wondering if anyone has had any positive experiences after surgery?

My Dr is still positive this will be my dx.  Just waiting on lap scheduling.   If this is the case I am finished having children so any surgical option is okay with me.  I am not okay with HRT or constant pain killers.
