Newly diagnosed with endometriosis

Hello ladies,

I come to you from the ovarian cyst forum. On March 30th, I had a laporascopy to have my two ovarian cysts removed (both on the left ovary). However, during the surgery my gynecologist discovered that one of my cysts had dissapeared (either reabsorbed or ruptured) and that my other cyst was twisted. On top of this she found a "small amount of endometriosis that was treated". I don't have a post-op until June 1st because I will out of province. I was just wondering what my prognosis is? Will it come back? Is my fertility likely affected? I am 21 years old. I was feeling great up until 3 days ago and now I have a stabbing pain on my left side again. Is this surgery related or could it be the endometriosis?

Thank you in advance!

The main is more than likely the endometriosis. Once you are diagnosed it will always re appear if taken away with surgery unless you have a hysterectomy.
It all depends on how bad ur endometriosis is and if it's affected ur ovaries on fertility issues.
