Ovarien endometriosis

I have done a laparescopy on 4th of November,09 to remove intense endometriosis in my ovaries. The cyst in my right ovary was a big one. I had on and off brown, chocolate colour discharge for 14 days after the surgery. Rarely there were  fresh blood discharge as well. After 14 days of my surgery I started my normal periods. It was fresh blood. Now I m in my 9th day of my mensus and still  bleeding. Not very heavily but may be 1 pad per day. In my normal cycle I have mensus for 6/7 days and was expecting this to be stopped by 7th day. Since I am still bleeding I am really worried whether this would be an issue or an abnormality. When I see my doctor after 12 days of the surgery he said the bleeding and brown spotting will be normal.. However, I am planning to meet him  next Friday but still wondering whether to meet him earlier than that? Please someone advice.

I hope you are ok, I had surgery to remove severe endo and a big cyst on my left ovary but my bleeding stopped after 3 or 4 days and my menses are back to normal. I would insist to the doctor to check other things just in case. Good luck, keep us posted
