SO MUCH PAI AFTER LAPROSCOPY?

hi all i finally had another lqap as i was crippled with periods i couldnt bear, excruciating pain after intercourse, nausea, dragging apin all down my back and legs, etc I was virtually diagnosed with endo, put on decapeptyl jab (same as lupron) and that def helped but i couldnt stand the side effects. Any way had my lap done docs said 'no endo found'! I was 99% i had this, does it need to be active for them to see it? is it possible theyre missed it? They said i had a very large adhesion prob from 2 previous c secs, they performed adhesiolysis. I am in more pain after than after my c section, is this normal, its very very sore and achy. I was told this is minor surgery, and just take paracetamol. I have been taking tramadol and it doesnt help the pain just knocks me out to sleep. pls help with any advice

my doctor told me that there could be cysts that are microscopic (sp?) and that you can only see them under a microscope... so Im sure there could be some there that they couldnt see... I had a laprascopy in Jan 09, Hysterectomy Feb 09 and I just had a laparoscopy a week ago.I felt the same way as you. The pain was so bad I couldnt get out of bed with out some help and moving, walking was horrible for a week!. I had adhesions that ran across my intestines and down my left side. I will let you know my endo is not visible. It can only be seen by biopsy. Right now my endo specialist has sent off for a biopsy of some of my adhesions so I dont know those resulsts yet. Yes it is an out patient procedure but expect not to be back to yourself for a couple weeks. The first time I had my lap my period was a nightmare. This time he wanted to do a laparoscopy instead and I really didnt expect this kind of pain. I am still recovering and if I do to much I really feel it. I had so many adhesions cut out. It is normal though. I'm taking Tramadol as well and Vicodine 50/500. You should ask about it as its a time release and it may help you better than knocking you out! I hope this helps some. Take care
