Spotting and bleeding on birth control

Hi, i have been on birth control pill for more than a year now and recently i started bleeding again so after a few days i decided to stop the pill to allow for a normal period but it has not been smooth as the bleeding comes in clots and im in some pain and discomfort now. Is this usual? My next checkup is tje end of ths mth. I just hope my endo is not doing too much mess inside to cause ths pain now as my last check was in oct last year where my endo size was 5cm then.
