Will a lower dose of norethindrone work for me?

I was taking 5 mg of norethindrone (aygestin) for endometriosis. The bleeding stopped almost entirely. Now I've lost my insurance, and my OB won't see self-pay patients. I tried appling for the"planning for healthy families" thing our state does to help provide birth control to low income families, but they won't give me this medication as it isn't an actual birth control. I live very rurally and have no other options to obtain a prescription anywhere within a three hour radius, and even outside of that  it will be very expensive because the appointment will be a new consult and will require a pap etc.

I found out about project ruby where you can answer questions online and receive a months supply of birth control for $20. They only have five types of birth control. The only progestin only one is .35 mg of norethindrone. Will this have the same effect for me? I've only taken the 5 mg aygestin and some estrogen combos that resulted in severe bleeding, so I'm nervous. Please help!!
