Ya think I might have Endo ????

Well let's begin, I had a diagnostic laparoscopy a week ago, no feedback from surgeon as yet.I had a biopsy of pelvic sidewall adhesion which is causing a bruise like pain that gets stronger during menstruation.Right now with the effects of the lap it feels that way for a week 1/2 now.My concern is I've never had and STD's  to develop an adhesion so I'm wondering if endometriosis would be the only outcome of this Lap or cancer in early stages . I'm so confused. -Bee

Hi
Well what happened was he has taken a biopsy, he couldn't detect the scarring/adhesion in ultrasounds, could cancer or endo scarring be missed?
The reason for the endo is heavy periods lower left abdominal pain, rectal bleeding only during menstruation which began 4 months ago/when heavy,3 fibroids with varying sizes .5cm to 8.5cm/bad cramps/terrible bloating/ back problems all of late has become increasingly obvious in the past year now with weird pain in my abdomen I've had since march 2011, generally I feel quite like I have PMS three weeks out of a month then my period yknow ?also having trouble shedding weight.I should be meeting the surgeon on the 12th October 2011 the results should be available as the tests on the biopsy should be available I think .I felt he wanted me to believe it was a PID with no evidence but I know it isn't.If he found adhesions/scarring and inflammation I fear the worst that it could be early stage cancer or something ...know it's a crazy whirlwind of emotions .In conclusion to your last comment he actually didn't find any straitforawrd evidence in ultrasounds so this is an unexplained ultrasound and he has actually found the adhesions/inflammation .I wonder why ultrasounds can miss that and why were my ultrasounds so different from the next totally weird 

Hey Bella:

What where you getting the laparoscopy for in the first place?  Menstrual pain?  When are you meeting with your surgeon?  I don't think that you have to worry about cancer unless your surgeon talked to you about this before the surgery.
