I am sorry that this is happening to you it ***** royally. I would try to focus on recovery. You are fighting an infection and it doesn't help the medication isn't working. I would give it another day or two and if no help go back in.

Are you on anything for Endo to suppress periods at this point or no?

Thanks Lulu, I'm sorry your suffering the pain also, thank you for you advice  maybe the pain is from my surgery, I called hospital the nurse said when my temperature more than 38 I will go to A&E even I go to A&E they only gave me meds. I know its not working, I will finish taking antibiotics if no changes I will go back to my GP, wish we feel better soon.Reese

Hey Reese-

I don't really have much to say as I am in the same position.  I know how exhausting it is.  If you aren't feeling better in 48 hours, I would recommend returning to the doctor and getting checked out.  Perhaps the antibiotic was not the right one.  My doctor has me going in to see her every 48 hours, and if I'm not better by Thursday she wants me back in hospital because I am suffering extreme pain, inflammation, and blood and mucous in my stool.  I have Crohn's disease as well but was told I was in remission.  All we can do is be vigilant.  We know our bodies and if something doesn't feel right, we need to check it out.  The last thing we want is to delay healing.
That being said, 18 days post-op is not enough time to heal, especially when surgery is as extensive as the one you had.
When I had my total pelvic reconstructive surgery in 2010, it was six weeks before I felt any real improvement, and 10 weeks before I resumed normal activity.  It is so dependent on the extent of the endo, where it was, and how long it took for the surgery happened in relation to onset of symptoms.
I know that I was in constant and debilitating pain for 6 months pre-surgery.
I know that I have a lot of inflammation and sensitization of nerves from it and it will take awhile to settle.
This means total rest.
I know how hard it is, I own a business and it is killing me financially to take this time off, but I also don't want to impede my recovery.  If you go back to life too soon, you run the risk of not healing properly.
You have a good surgeon and the surgery was successful.  So rest and let it heal and please check in with the doc if something doesn't feel right.
Sending you prayers for comfort and healing...
Lu
