Thank you so much  Yum!  That means alot to me. :)
Right after my surgery, like the 2nd day I started spotting, then it became light bleeding for 2 days. They warned me that I might bleed right afterwards for a couple of days.  After those 2 days I stopped.  Then about 3 weeks later I got what was my "normal" period.  Mine were always really heavy but this time they were light.  It was actually my very first "normal" periods in a long long time. I bled for 4 days which I usually go for 5.  Hysteroscopy I think is only intended for the cervix and uterus. I don't think they can actually reach all the way to the fallopian tubes or ovaries with it. I'm not sure, but I think that's right.  Anyways, they looked at all my ovaries and fallopian tubes with the laparoscopy surgery.   Sex for me the 1st time was extremely painful.  I cried BAD!  I bled and actually my "first" time wasnt' my first time. lol. I couldn't go through with it.  Sorry if that's TMI.   I was in your same position and still am.  I've hurt for the last 8 yrs now. Extremely painful periods and bleeding alot too on top of not being able to conceive. I finally got the nerve up to go because "what IF it was something bad??", I was only letting it get worse.  I still hurt but i'm not having that irregular bleeding anymore thank goodness.  My Dr. told me to give the spotting at least a month. You're body went through surgery and now has to regulate itself.  Mine did after the 2nd month and now I have normal periods.  If I were you, I would go ahead and schedule the check up.  They're just going to ask questions.  Be honest!  Because if it sounds like something that needs to be checked out at least they can!  That's what they're there for.
Men never will understand. If I were you i'd sit him down and let him know how much it hurts you, how much it depresses you. Because I'm depressed from hurting ALL the time. I now have to see a pelvic specialists because my pain hasn't went away. So just tell your hubby that you need him to be there for you, you need him to at least try to understand what you're going through.  I feel the same way you do again as far as it not being fair.  I feel like "why do I have to hurt all the time?". Or "why can't I have a child on my own??  I've been married 11 yrs now and we've tried for about 6 yrs.  There's alot that's so unfair and alot that can be fixed so we just have to stay positive.  Your best bet is to get back to the dr.  They're probably going to tell you to give it a month or two like they did me!  See how that goes, see if it works itself out and if not you will probably need more test but hun, it's alot better finding the problem, fixing it and living your life happy then not fixing it and being misreable!   WE DESERVE TO BE HAPPY!   You can message me anytime, anytime you need to talk. I'll be here for ya!!   Take Care of yourself, get back to that dr. and let me know how everything goes.  Try not to be scared or afraid, we all are at some point but it's going to be okay!!

hi des a rae, thanks for your support..just went thru some of ur posts.sorry abt ur situation..really hope u'll very soon have a baby & good luck..
i'm married for 7 yrs now..i had a cervical polyp abt 1 cm removed.doc dint find any other so she said she did mild d&c.i bled for couple of hrs.then spotted little for about 6 days then everythin was normal 4r a week.this is my regular period.my last was on 27.sep.doc said i wold bleed less than regular..i was really hoping my spotting would stop & have period directly but why should it ! i'm spotting brown like always..
u said u had a surgery in june..after the polyp removed, did u get ur first period directly without any spotting? i have a doubt abt hysteroscopy...do they look at ovaries & fellopian tubes too with hysteroscopy or just cervix & uterus?  i was supposed to go for the follow up appoin last week but i said i would go after i had my period so its next tue..my doc said there's a little chance that cervical polyps come back..this may sound stupid but i had probs having sex first time..that scared me to hell & i get so scared going to doc & get tests done..thats why it tuk me 3 yrs to go to gyno for tests..now i dunno what more tests i need..doc did pap & tvs earlier in june..
i was cursing myself,my hubby, god & crying like crazy..my hubby makes fun of me saying i have a window of just 10 days a month & i'm spotting always..i felt that its not fair that some ppl go thru life normally & some dont..i know its not right to think that but coudnt help it..i know its not practical but want to hope i'll get normal next month..stupid ,right!
waiting for your reply..thanks again des..tc now..

Hi there,

I'm 31 also and just this yr in June I had a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.  They removed a polyp from the middle of my uterus, plus removed very little endometriosis and a cyst on my fallopian tube. About the polyp though I too had irregular bleeding and spotting. I would spot during the month, after sex, before my period would start and also in the end started spotting just from working outside. Anything strenuous made me bleed.  I bled a little after the surgery. It was like a very very light period for about 2 days. Then I got my regular period about 3 weeks later.  Do you think this might be it??    It could made you start a little early due to everything they did in there.
I've also been trying to conceive for 6 yrs and because of the endo, polyp and cyst I was having really bad, really painful periods..on top of the irregular bleeding from the polyp. I'm hoping that since everything is "cleaned out" in there I'll conceive soon! :)
I'm definitely wishing you the best and good luck when it's time to start trying for a family. :)  Please let me know how you're doing!!  Even if you decide to see a dr. about this!  And please try not to stress. I know that's asking alot as I am there myself but it only makes it worse. I think you'll be fine..and did they metion that polyps come back??  Again, take care! :)
