Endometriosis

How fast normally does Endometriosis return after a Laparoscopy?

I had a laparoscopy in March 2011 and felt great for almost 12 months. I haven't been on any birth control so had regular periods. And regular periods = return of endo unfortunately. The usual symptoms have come back in the last 2-3 months. This time round nausea has been added to the mix. I think if you're prone to it you'll always have it unfortunately.

I am waiting for an appointment with a gyno that has been studying it for years. The only problem is, it take 4-6 weeks for an appointment with him. And I may be pregnant right now.

Wow well he obviously knows nothing about this disease. I would find a specialist with this disease or find another gyno that understands that you need to be on medal to combat this disease

I wasn't put on anything. My Gyno said it would not return and never suggested another Laparoscopy either.

It really depends on what meds you have been out on. If you are not put on meds then it will return right away.
